How to play Chess

• Each side has a king, a queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights and eight pawns.
• White moves first and the players alternate, one move each.
• Capture by moving onto the square of an enemy piece.
• Castling, en passant and pawn promotion are all part of the game.
• Checkmate the opposing king to win; a stalemate is a draw.
